Switching to the buyside with some research experience
I am currently an equity research associate at a boutique firm in a relatively hot coverage group with about a year of experience. I'm trying to figure out what my next steps are, as I want to go to the buyside but am not totally sure how to get there from my current role and don't want to miss my window; I also am relatively segregated from clients at this point so don't have too much of a network to rely on to make the move. Any recommendations on how I should start in this process?
