Thinking about getting phd or MD then trying to go to hedge funds
I love medicine and science and also enjoy banking. Currently an IB analyst. Undergrad degree was premed and finance. Good gpa. I know med school is a bitch and lots of prep to get in. I know it is also not needed to get into hedgefunds but would it help at all? Could I do both? What do you guys think?
A masters could be all you need if you already have analyst exp. Not sure about MD or phd, bump on that.
If you do PhD / MD only for the sake of getting into hedge funds, I am 100% certain you will not be able to complete the PhD / MD.
