Thinking of moving from a Long Only Asset Management to L/S Fundamental Hedge Funds. Any advice?

I’ve been starting to look around for hedge fund opportunities, as I have modeling experience on the buy side, and am reaching out to recruiters.

I have stock pitches prepared, but I’d like to see if there is anything else I can do to make myself a more attractive candidate.

Would love some advice, especially if you’ve taken a similar path!
