They seem like a spin-off from Millennium but curious to get thoughts on the fund - culture, strategies, people, etc. It looks like they are actively recruiting PMs and building out strategies. They claim to have launched in Jan 2022 with Millennium capital. Thanks for your help!

I know some folks they’ve hired and haven’t been impressed. Lackluster talent.

Intuitively, I would assume that less established funds will have to offer PMs better economics, if they want to attract pod talent.
In other words, PMs would take home a higher percentage of their books' profits.
No idea if that's the situation in this specific case, though.
Mostly people who got blown out a few times other places or pseudo analysts taking a promotion.

What is the track record of Michael successfully developing big PMs, either within Phenom at MLP or at Greenland? That is the only important question to get to the bottom of, right?
I know a guy who does REITs that joined there, totally talentless and no work ethic, has only had terrible performance at his prior firms. Was surprised they hired him
