People hold Goodwin in very very high regard. Absolutely one of the better consumer investors out there so this is reminiscient of Woodruff/Candlestick when he spun out of Citadel
Don't know many details around how the group is structured or if they'll expand beyond consumer but he's building a mkt neutral biz under Baly so imagine it's got to be semi-similar to how Ashler was created w/ Matt Simon just being an all-star industrials guy
They are definitely expanding beyond consumer.
Goodwin started as a healthcare PM, and that's still the main focus, though of course he expanded to consumer over time at P72, and will be going even broader at Baly.

Nah but good luck on the interview though lol they are recruiting like mad out there. Barely started deploying anything yet so there aren't many updates to be had
