Thoughts on this interview follow-up email?
Hi,
Just had a later round case study (2 weeks) at a HF. I sent a follow-up shortly after, and he replied saying he thanks me for my time/effort. I want to reply "no problem, you would be a good person to work for, so I spent a good amount of effort into the pitch". I really do mean this, but can it come off as desperate/tacky?
I think the quality of your case study says that for you
I wouldnt say that for sure. Definitely dont say "no problem" too casual, and you really dont know if theyre good to work with or not so it comes of as not very genuine. I would leave it at that you dont have to reply to his thank you
You already sent a follow-up email, and got a response. That's where it should end
You turn this into another conversation (via email?), you'll come across as immature and trying too hard.
agreed. wouldnt reply
