Tough Situation, Need advice

I am about to enter my BB SA role in ~a month. However, I want to have a career in mmhf at some point. P72 just opened apps and other hfs will follow soon.

Should I apply now and interview into my BB SA role or should I wait until August when the internship is over? If I apply now how do I manage stepping away from the desk and interviewing?

You need to start planning your excuses now. The best way is to come up with 10 that don't conflict with each other, are detailed enough to be believable, and are somewhat personal/uncomfortable topics that others won't ask questions about.

Sample list

  1. Doctor's appointment for annual check up
  2. Made up religious tradition
  3. Orthodontist appointment to get your braces removed
  4. Vet appointment for pregnant dog
  5. Forgot the stove on at home while cooking bacon
  6. Forgot to feed sourdough starter for your weekly loaf
  7. Funeral for friend's goldfish
  8. Landlord's retirement party
  9. Naptime
  10. Interviewing at P72

Seriously though, just say you need to step out for coffee to meet up with a mentor or something.
