What are the best ways to fund raise and invest for starting a hedge fund

High school student here who is interested in starting a hedge fund in the future after a good stint in lev fin or derivatives law what is the best advice for anyone who works in hedge funds to really pick up at

Know people? Idk, raising money is sometimes easy and sometimes hard, but for the most part I recommend most people don't start a hedge fund. A good analyst/PM will make more at a big hedge fund being a top performer than they could founding their own fund 99% of the time, and worrying about the little things like back office and support is never fun

 

Anyone who has to ask how to start a hedge fund (especially in an online forum) isn’t gonna start a hedge fund. Case in point, check out all the losers in r/hedgefund asking variations of this. There’s a couple of them every week.
