Lol not sure who started that rumor, Mav doesn’t have a full time analyst program out of college.
If look on Linkedjn you see a H/S incoming analyst from Black Diamond/Kudla Fund
Wrote this on another thread, don’t extrapolate every little thing you see.
“People see one guy join Mav full time and assume they recruit undergrads / completely write off:
1. Who the kid knows / how he got the job
2. What group the kid will be in
Internship, yes. Does that convert to full-time? No. Do interns do meaningful work? No lol. No, they don’t recruit full time and don’t have an official junior analyst program. Do you know Lee? The vast majority of these are a senior guy going “hey do we have room for my family friend/nephew?”
As an ex analyst at 1 of those places, go to a pod shop if you want to do public equities. Investing at a fund that's underwater is a horrible experience

Why do they even have a internship program if they don’t convert much of their SA class?
