What is going on at Carronade and Owl Creek?
Both firms seem to have extremely high recent churns of their investment teams. Lots to citadel but a few in the wind. Anything going on?

Hadn't heard about turnover at Carronade except for one person. I just know they've been recruiting for a long time but figured just because it is harder to find talent for uncommutable distances.
Owl Creek - agreed on turnover but not sure of the reasons. One senior guy went to Wexford recently and they were recruiting in the fall.
Bumping if anyone else has color.
By my count it’s 5 churned at Carronade and 4 Owl Creek since YE 2022. A bunch at Carronade last five months.
Agreed, and including one Aurelius guy there from the start. Hadn't heard of any problems at Carronade aside from difficulty recruiting due to location, though.
Per last week's Hedge Fund Alert, 3 let go from Carronade at once due to unspecified "unprofessional behavior". They are actively hiring.
Damn that’s rough for them given size of their investment team and difficulty in recruiting talent to go to Darien.
