What is it like moving from a US L/S MM to a European fund?
Currently at a US MM L/S fund. Wondering on the feasibility on applying to Euro funds and the process? Is it relatively easy to recruit for a European fund out of a known US fund? Is speaking the domestic language enough or do you need to be business fluent (read filings in that language etc)? How does the pay difference and structure look? Any details would be good to know.
