What to do after family office? Thoughts appreciated

Debating leaving the family office I'm at. A few different strategies but primarily credit-oriented

What I'm struggling with is what I'm supposed to even recruit for - because the type of work has been so varied across asset classes, I don't think I would be a good fit for a traditional hedge fund with a defined mandate

Is it mainly other family offices that would be options? Have 5+ YOE, so I'm mainly concerned that if I go too long here, I'll be even more boxed out of other funds

Thanks in advance for the help
