Where should I post trade ideas for potential jobs?

I'm doing this partly for fun and partly for building a work portfolio to show potential employers.

Recently submitted a short thesis to Value Investor Club. I have confidence in that short and am waiting for feedback.

As a banker in a terribly managed coverage group, I don't have much time to write a bunch of investment pitches. I can only bet on the write-up's quality.

Thus, I want to think hard about where to post them online.

I have a Substack account. Nothing else besides that, and I barely go on social media, except WSO.

Any suggestions?

It’s good enough for Philippe Laffont, Daniel Sundheim, and Marc Andreessen - but obviously not you, “Associate 1 in IB”

It is extremely rare that anyone reaches out to you offering a job because they found your posts interesting.

If you want to get a job in the industry, reach out directly to a fund or job posting and attach a relevant write-up.

Hate to break it to you but they generally don't come to you, you have to go to them.
