Will my offer be rescinded?
Hey yall, I recently received an internship offer at a HF. I'm kinda nervous because back in 2020, I had an argument with my gf. We got a little physical (no hitting or anything) so I called the police to calm down the both of us. When the police got here, my gf was crying and couldn't speak English properly (English isn't her native language), so they just assumed she called the police and arrested me. The charge was dismissed almost immediately after. Two years later, now my gf and I couldn't be happier together and I'm even thinking about proposing to her in a year or two. Do hedge funds rescind offers based on dismissed misdemeanors? Should I hire a lawyer to seal the case for me?
