Would a starting Wall Street Mastermind program for Hedge Funds work?
I never worked in investment banking or PE but I do work at a hedge fund and know a few people in the industry that helped me get a role. Would opening a Wall Street Mastermind type of company work in terms of making money? The financial structure would be the same, which is essentially charging $7000 for guidance from undergrads or from bankers after their two years. Posting on IB because more people here know what Wall Street Mastermind is.
Fuck off Sam
You think the undergraduates and the bankers can't get guidance from WSO? LOL.
To the degree that it would work, it would be something like what Brett Caughran is doing. Aside from that, I don't think so. Skill and/or interest in markets isn't something that can really be taught or faked like it can for IB or PE.
Interest prob can be faked if one tries hard enough. Skill for damn sure cannot be faked.
No it would not work. HFs pay a lot to recruiters, people like Brett to mold and find them talent. Anyone who is paying 7k probably ain’t gonna find their way into a fund. Banking is a systematic job.
Your best bet is to go on fintwit get a bunch of followers and post content daily like all other HF folks who do not like their day job.
Heres the guidance:
Go to an elite undergrad.
Now give me 7k
