Would you recommend a fresh grad to invest the time in quant research/fundamental research?
For a fresh grad, given an option between quant research/fundamental research, how would you recommend investing the time for future career? Non-quant background.
Knowing that a lot of people are quitting finance for tech and the debate between quant and fundamental with research and investment business itself has been on for ages.
Would it be a good idea to diversify the skills beside fundemental to invest better/have better comps along the road? Or you don't think that will be of great help?
