Year 1 take home from big HFs
What do you guys know about the range of salary + bonus for a 1st year guy at a place like Bridgewater, DE Shaw, or another big HF?
Thanks.

Career Resources
Bridgewater nos (from friends' contracts - I've seen the numbers in writing myself):
15k signing bonus/relocation 100k base
15-30k bonus paid twice annually (30-60k annual)145-175k first year all-in, before taxes/insurance etc. etc.
my friend is getting 100 base + 15 signon + 15 guaranteed year end from a place on par with DE Shaw
What about comp for first year post IBD analyst stint?
I think that is the number they are giving us. If post-IBD is different, I would also like to know.
that's what my friend is getting straight out of undergrad
Thanks x13, as I would assume comp post IBD would have to be greater than if you were to simply transition straight to associate. Can any of the HF guys on here comment on post IBD comp at one of these large well-known funds?
The only data point I have is in London, and its no sign on, 40 GBP base, variable year end bonus between 50-400%.
