2011 SA compensation - London
Dear financiers and financières,
For those who already secured offers in London, what compensation have you been offered per week?
I have the strange feeling that numbers have dropped significantly...
Thx.

Career Resources
Compensations seem to be based on analyst salaries, which is pretty interesting considering salaries have recently increased from 36-38 to 42-45k
for my sa I am gonna have this base plus a 1K relocation allocation, which makes £10,600, including holidays reimbursement, for 11 weeks
not that bad...

£38k pro rata, not sure exactly what that comes out per week after NI... That's ER associate intern at well-known AM shop. One of my friends is doing BB IDB in London this summer and is on £42k pro rata, so there is a slight range depending on what you are doing. I don't think the number are down significantly, but it's difficult to tell.
Most BBs are paying 45k pro-rata + 1k relocation for both IBD and markets.
This mimics full time offers, where DB, CS, UBS, JPM, Citi, BofA and HSBC are all on £45k + 6k. RBS is slightly higher (48k). GS & MS are a bit lower. BNP, SocGen, RBC are still lower than GS and MS.
err JP Morgan and HSBC both pay 42k pro rata BNP pays 38k
RBS pays 46
Well, even if RBS paid 60k people would still choose to go elsewhere.
I heard RBS is paying £52 + 4. Anyone have any friends holding RBS offers?
that sounds absurdly high
the highest SA offer number ive heard is 46k pro rata
Sorry, should have mentioned this is for FT.
my co intern had a RBS offer
Base salary is 45k + 7k benefits (=52k total)
+10k signing bonus
