I guess we´ll have to wait a couple of months to see how the situation evolves...
Personally, I perceive the current climate to rent as quite favourable and I am worried that once the situation improves and everyone is told we will be in the office, the environment will deteriorate.
Therefore, I already secured accommodation and negotiated a nice cancellation period if we indeed do WFH and I don’t need to go to LDN.
Hi, what kind of accomodation did you manage to secure this early? Is it student housing?
Also where will you live? (and is your bank in CW or in the City)

Hi, I was looking on Spareroom for accommodation and found a hotel that also has long term residents (mostly other IB and PE people I’m told). My banks are located in Canary Wharf and I will be living in Westminster, so roughly 30min commute.
