A2A Signing Bonus
Are signing bonuses for A2As a thing? I'd never heard of this but have been reading a few old threads that mention them.
If these bonuses do exist, are they offset against the AN2 / AN3 (depending on bank) regular bonus? Or if you stay for the associate promotion, would you expect to get (1) your final year analyst bonus, (2) an increase in base comps to the AS0 salary, and (3) an associate signing bonus?
Thanks!
They are a thing and they do not offset against your year end analyst bonus. You would get all 3 points you mentioned.
For analysts on a summer cycle, it definitely helps to bridge the gap when moving to calendar, as after your July A2/A3 bonus, it will be 18 months before you get your first full year associate bonus.
For reference, my banks A2A signing bonus is 60k
A2A signing bonus at my MM is $50k, on top of final analyst end year bonus and base bump.
Anyone have info on the EBs? Know CVP is $200k, but EVR/PWP/PJT?
