Accidentally Tanked Half a Trillion DollarStock... Will I Still Get a Return Offer?

Alright, fellow apes, here’s the sitch: I’m an intern at a large semiconductor firm and I kinda hit send on our Q3 earnings report a day early. Stock tanks 17%, half a trillion in market cap vaporized, and now I’m trying to act cool at my desk like nothing happened.

Thing is, I'm still vibing in the office, no one's explicitly yelled at me, but what do you guys think? Will I still get the return offer. They said it was a "technical error," so technically, I'm in the clear, right?

TL;DR: Accidentally torpedoed the stock of my company by hitting send a day early on the earnings. Return offer? Yay or nah?

Keep your head up, casually mention how you've “learned so much from this experience” in your exit interview. For the end of internship presentation I’d say something along the lines of: “this internship has taught me invaluable skills, like how to manage a multi-billion dollar corporate disaster in real-time. Looking forward to leveraging my crisis management experience for future stock price disruptions”.

I’d say you’re fine but worst case, you've just made the greatest case study for an MBA app.
