Advice: Asking About Starting FT Right After the Internship

I know this may seem like a non-issue to most, but I am very concerned about how to go about asking about this (starting full time right after the internship). I recruited for summer of 2023 thinking that I was going to graduate in Dec of 2023 (which would be 9 semesters or 4.5 years), but an advisor worked some magic and now I can graduate spring of 2023. I emailed HR at the bank to ensure that there would be no issues since I would have already graduated at the time of the internship. HR greenlit it.

Recently, a full time (Analyst 1) role in that group opened up where they are looking for a spring of 2023 grad. I reached out to a VP in the group and asked if it would be possible to transition to that role. He never got back but an analyst got back to me a few days later. She mentioned how some analysts have started right after the internship. I am planning on reaching back out to ask her if the analysts which did that set up that arrangement prior to the start of their internship or was that decision made later - and how I would go about setting that up.

For context: I am at my ideal group - I have an extreme interest in a niche type of transaction which I became very fond of my sophomore year. I would like nothing more than to stay with this group through A2A, VP and (hopefully) beyond. This is why I am so worried about messing it up, literally anything else would be a downgrade because of my passion for this.

How should I approach this / follow up on starting right after graduation? My main concern is appearing entitled or rocking the boat prior to the internship.
