American Bank vs French Bank?
I was hoping to get some insight into which bank would be better to join for a newcomer in IB.
Currently in London, and only have offers from Wells Fargo and Credit Agricole for their IBD division.
One is pushing to grow IBD with a huge balance sheet backing it (Wells), but the other has a more established IBD team in CA-CIB.
So in terms of future opportunities to join other banks, salaries, bonus etc. which one would be better?
Wells have an asset cap so actually balance sheet not so good in terms of just throwing money out there to get ancillary fees etc
