Analyst Bonuses Summer 2022
With roughly 1 month to go until bonuses are announced, what’s everyone’s feeling on how things are going to look for Analysts on the summer cycle. Was pretty normal to see close to 100% of base last year. However, clearly a historic year for deal flow and also base pay was lower. Do you think companies will factor in rising cost of living and inflation or just say fuck it, they can figure out how to live in a city where rent for a 1B is 4k+ a month.
Technically we’re supposed to be accounted for half a good year of H2 2021, but not sure if management will have the hindsight to remember that or just focus on the present.
Bump, will get bonus numbers in the next few weeks but curious if other analysts have heard anything yet
