Are analyst roles for specific desks always A2 or A3?
I’m keeping my eye out on postings, I see that some places will hire for ‘Analyst - Diversified Industries Investment Banking’ but won’t be ‘2026’ or ‘New Grad’.
Are those by default A2 or A3? The role doesn’t say ‘Analyst/Associate’ and no specific work experience required atm.
Good question - bumping for anyone with insights
Sometime, it’s written « experienced analyst » so most likely A2 / A3, from my experience it’s better to either see the HR who repost the offer on LinkedIn (they often give more details) / directly reach out to HR by email to be sure
