Are Banks looking to convert a lot of their interns this summer?
I will be interning in London soon and have started thinking about how to get a ft offer. Obviously banks are very busy at the moment but interns who are given ft's come back a year later. Was wondering if anyone had insight on the proportion of interns banks will be looking to take on.
Depends on the bank. I would say they expect to convert the same % as prior years.
I think so - my bank seems to be trying to plug the gap in associates and experienced analysts by hiring AN0s and interns like crazy. It’s a dumb strategy and a lot of the new people are terrible but that doesn’t seem to stop them from doing it.
May I know which bank ?
I'd like to apply :p
MoCo but I wouldn’t advise applying, there’s a reason everyone’s leaving
