Are RBC and Macquarie good banks?
I'm UK based and I know that these banks do some good deals. However I'm not sure of anything else - work culture or compensation and exit ops. Can anyone shed some light on this please? Thanks

Both teams rely on their infra / PUI m&A teams. Macquarie also have a solid S&T business for commodities, as well as a principal investing business. RBC is present with wealth management
Culturewise both Macquarie and rbc are sweatshops for infra - buyside deals that involve getting raped by sponsor clients as MDs start shitting themselves for ReLaTionShIp management and hold little regard for juniors. Exits are solid from these teams - 99% of them being to infra funds
Comp is good - upper end for these infra teams (vs other teams at the same banks)
