Hi guys, I have a question about my background check. I will start my internship in Sept., and one of my previous summer intern is a part-time assistant at Big Four that my relative hired me as his assistant. But he's now leave the company and go to China, he can't provide the company email anymore, what should I do to deal with the bg check? Thank you guys!

Typically in the UK they only check your start and end dates by reaching out to HR of whichever company you stated on your CV.
Were you on any formal contract with the big 4? I suggest reaching out to that relative to clarify and also ring up their HR. If all else wait until the background raises questions and then be honest IMHO.
