Barclays / Citi / Lazard - best exits (London)

Hi WSO,

I’m looking to understand which of Barclays, Citi and Lazard have the best exits in London. If you have any insights and can rank the firms it would be extremely helpful.

Thanks!

Issue with these questions is that it is not as simple as rating banks uniformly especially if your talking about IBD - within each bank certain teams themselves are way better than others.

Good point - specifically the UK M&A teams of Barclays and Citi - not sure if you have any insights?

Citi UK team is fairly average and not the best culture IMO having worked with them a fair bit. Not got as much intel on the other two.

This type of classification is difficult without knowing the team.
However, overall, sorry to disappoint, but there’s no way Lazard (London, not Europe) ranks ahead of Barclays
