BB CB To IB

I have seen some posts before about corporate banking to Investment Banking, but wanted to get some fresh answers or ideas.

Currently An1 in corporate banking at a BB, I do like it but find the work a bit repetitive and dull, and fine the want for more exciting and changing work/deals, that is my main reason for wanting to lateral.

Has anyone made the switch, know someone that has made the switch, or any helpful tips? CB at my bank falls under IB, but making the switch is really like switching firms, going through the complete app process.
