Best coding courses

Hi Folks, I’m looking to improve my programming skills and learn more about ML and AI. Do you have any recommendations of what online courses I can take? Maybe there are some that are highly valued by Wall Street professionals. As always thank you for your help

I personally would recommend not doing courses. think of a problem you want to solve, a cool idea, or just a simple project you find interesting, and just ask GPT4 to guide you. the project doesnt have to be unique, just interesting to you.

if you are specifically interested in AI, a really great way to start would be using the openai python library to create really basic prompting scripts. the next step could be making a "chat with a 10-K" type app. use something like google colab for an environment (its extremely easy to use), and if you ever want to publish an app so others can use it, use a platform like streamlit or one of their competirors.

fyi bankers cant code so this isnt a great place to ask for advice.

Plenty of free resources available.  I'd start with codeacademy for their Python class (introduction).

It is not a race, but a marathon.  Take the first step!
