Best Interview Prep Websites and Guides?

Hi guys,

I am a 1st year at LSE/UCL/KCL currently applying to spring weeks and wanted to know what are the best websites or guides to prepare for Hirevues, Telephone and Video interviews. I want to know how best to structure my answers for the behavioural, technical and situational Q's as well as understand what a model answer actually looks like to these Q's.

I've had a look at packages offered by JobTestPrep and BreakingIntoWallstreet but wanted to know if you think they are worth it or if there are better ones out there?

Ok so from my experience here's what will help for sure:

  • Get 5 friends and split a jobtestprep account. Practice for your Online Assessments in advance but I dont recommend spending hours and hours on it, do enough to get a grasp on what you might encounter.

  • 400Q and The Red Book -> amazing start on technicals and a great guide how to approach behavioral questions.

Nothing more specific in terms of websites or anything. Make sure you are genuine in your answers , research both the company and position well. When it comes to structuring your answer many refer to the STAR method but if you tailor all your answers like that you might start sounding a bit robotic, so Id recommend have a personal story here and there but don't rehearse it too much.

  • If you wanna go in-depth with modeling deffo do wallstreet prep or WSO , great value for money , if you don't care about certificates split the account with some friends

  • Practice answering questions infront of a mirror (referring to behaviorals here) and interview each other with friends

This is a good way imo to get yourself up to speed! Good luck!
