Blackstone 1-2 day insight events
What's the point of these events? Seems like Blackstone doesn't convert any interns from the 60-ish attendees from the women's and diversity insight events. Are these mostly for resume-padding / signalling purposes? Does it give you a significant leg up in their SA/FT/associate recruiting later?

Was on the programme this year. Conversion is not a direct path, conventionally requiring IB internship. Although you would get direct access to HR after the event and in future applications, your CV gets to be screened 1st
