Boutique FIG Investment Banks

Anybody able to shed some light on FIG boutiques like Insurance Advisory Partners, Howden Capital Markets Advisory (formally Howden Tiger), Fenchurch, Ardea ...? What's their performance like?

If someone also knows about some similar boutiques please also mention.

Heard of them but actually don't know what they do. If Howden is a spin-off of the massive insurance company, I'd imagine they target Insurance M&A. Continuum is quite strong in insurance. Quite a lot of KBW seniors went to Fenchurch / Continuum a couple of years ago. Fenchurch are strong in asset/wealth management m&a whilst continuum is present in insurance. Like most american mid-market banks in London, KBW is a lot stronger in the US

Would also add Alantra’s SFABS business which is very strong (their FIG team is separate to their corpfin division and it is further silo’d between FIG M&A and SFABS). Cannot speak for their FIG M&A deals though.
