Boutique ib internship vs BDO M&A internship

End goal is to end up at a strong MM ib, possibly EB in m&a. This is for the summer before my final summer. From the people I’ve spoken to at BDO it seems like they have strong deal flow and a pretty decent team but it’s a mix of financing and m&a. The boutique ib does m&a only and also has strong deal flow. They’ve done a few deals that were in the 200M-400M range. Both mainly operate in the lower middle market.
