Breaking back into IB

Hi all,

I graduated from an MSc last year and subsequently did an internship in M&A at a MM boutique. Whilst I got a return, it wasn't the place for me so I declined and landed another internship in a corp dev / investing team at a tech company.

I really like my new team, however if I ended up finding that this new corp dev role is not for me, how likely is it that I would be able to re-recruit into IB?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Why did you turn down the return offer? Spilt milk under the bridge but you really should have taken that offer and lateralled at the earliest possible opportunity. Is there a way you can try to get back onboard with the MM?
