Breaking into investment banking.

Good morning,

This is my first post on the forum.

I am a mature maths student at the Open University. I was at a "brick" uni, but a health issue put my life on pause for around 12 years and I'm now rebuilding.

I have around 5 years work experience in accounting and I'm currently self-funding my way through the ACCA chartered accountant qualification.

How would I go about getting into IB?

Not being 19 years old anymore, I'd feel a bit out of place doing a Summer internship.

Thanks in advance for your advice.
