Cambridge Master Finance

Any opinions on Master of Finance Cambridge?

Didn’t apply earlier since nowhere it was mentioned within MFA on LBS, LSE, imperial and MFE on Oxford but still wondering if it is worth for IB/PE in London? Heard that the approach there is very academic.

This is a post-experience programme, so not comparable to the courses you mention. MFins in the UK are equivalent to MBAs in terms of experience level and as far as I know they are a target for post-experience MFin.

Their pre-experience programme, the MPhil Finance, is a bit different. That one is super academic and isn't designed as a vocational course like LBS, HEC, Oxford MFE etc. and is designed as a pipeline for the PhD programme in finance.

So it is worth considering as a breaking into london IB university?
I do have 2 years of work experience in tier II bank IB in Poland and want to move to London.

If you're doing IB already then absolutely although I'm not sure how the visa situation works. I'm also not sure how recruiting works for post experience MFin candidates - there are very little structured programmes and I think most of the weight is on getting headhunted. I know someone who did public markets investing at BlackRock then did LBS's MFin then got headhunted to hedge funds - he didn't even apply to any structured programmes.
