Can I earn my recreational/private pilot license while working in IB?
Was curious if there’s any restrictions that would outright bar me from obtaining the license. Honestly, not everyone is going to be IB forever and I don’t want to do more of it in PE. So I thought shit, if I know how to fly that cuts ticket cost if I want to travel within the US post-IB. I wouldn’t be doing it for pay so I guess that throws OBAs and disclosure to HR out of the question but I don’t know if there’s any other additional disclosure I am missing.
PPL holder here: it would definitely not cut ticket costs!
What are some of the advantages of having a PPL over flying commercial? Sorry as you can tell my understand of the flying world is rudimentary and ignorant. I just think it would be pretty badass to be able to fly whenever you want.
