What's up with that? I heard it's first come first serve in terms of where you get to sit in the morning and you don't have allocated seats anymore in the London office?
Is this just for the sector/coverage teams or is it the same thing for capital markets, because I'm going to be very sour if it's for capital markets as well?

Are you sure? Teams I've spoken with were all sitting with one another from what I saw. It'd be quite weird if you could be in Industrials but sit with people from Power.. Will be joining IB in the summer, if that's the case that's completely whack.
