CLO / Bank Loans Investing EMEA

Hi all,

Wanted to ask a few questions around roles at CLOs in Europe (specifically investing in leveraged loans, not in CLO tranches). I understand there's been a few threads, but it seems to be US-focussed.

1) Are most of them located in London, and is it hard to transition back to London once you've taken a role in another city? I understand there's a couple of firms in Zurich, Dublin, etc. and wanted to widen my scope 2) Exit opps - wondering whether people can / do transition from here to Private Debt, Credit hedge funds, etc.? If they do stay, is it typically 10 years until you become PM? 3) Compensation - how is compensation like for junior roles in both UK and Europe? How is progression like and bonus? Is it the same as the US? 4) Top names (I don't have Creditflux access) - I'm guessing the US firms dominate (KKR, GSO, etc.) in terms of AUM and performance? How about CLOs related to European names (ICG, CVC) and other UK firms (M&G)? 5) Travel? Is is typical to travel often (roadshows for primary issuances, etc.)?

Many thanks for taking the time. Reposted from the PE thread
