Former CLT banker who moved up to NY, so can provide a bit of insight.

WF is the biggest bank down here, and they usually start recruiting in late summer/early fall. You can't directly recruit for CLT though, and you have to choose to be placed into CLT during group selection.

JEF is the strongest bank in CLT from a deal flow and exits POV, with Aerospace & Defense, Tech-enabled Services, C&R, and REGL. All four groups do group-specific recruiting and usually start in the Spring (late March/April), so they should be starting either now or pretty soon.

Blair is rapidly expanding, with Aerospace & Defense, Industrials, and Healthcare bankers. I'm pretty sure Blair also starts in the early Spring for their Charlotte office, usually around April or so.

Not too sure about the processes for the smaller offices (Lazard MM, SVBL).
