Career Resources
All EBs will get you decent exits, but they all have different strengths. It is irrelevant to compare and rank them, it depends on what you are keen on.
CVP - Healthcare and Consumer focus. Small office / very few intern spots Moelis - Strong in RX/Special Sits, less so in M&A PJT - Top tier in RX, also building in M&A PWP - Strength is on industrials M&A Evercore - Growing fast, pretty must has all industry coverage teams now, also had a RX team which recruits separately from M&A. Seem to be hiring a lot. Core areas are FIG, Transport & Utilities Greenhill - no insgiht
From what I understand / consensus is the 'best' are PJT, CVP and Evercore (in terms of pay, culture and deals). Moelis and PJT if interested in RX
Lazard/Rothschild - larger / less comparable to the other EB's, more comparable to BB in many ways. Also both top tier in restructuring, which differentiates them from BB's if thats a consideration. Rothschild is different from the other EB's in that it focuses on volume of deals (going down into the Mid-Market), whiles EB's more likely to advise on a few marquee deals (e.g. CVP/PJT for M&A)
This is my understanding - any others input welcomes
