CVP Networking?

On their website it says to refrain from sending unsolicited emails to anyone at the firm, so yall that got offers, how’d you network? Also, does that guidance change depending on what school you go to? Do you not network at all? Thanks.

If they don’t respond you think it’s fine to send a follow up after a week or two…or reach out to another person? Obv not gonna blow up the inbox but not sure what’s the threshold for being dinged.

Honestly in this rare case I wouldn't follow up. I got an immediate (like 48 hours tops) response and just being on the other side of things as an analyst, whenever I get unsolicited emails I know within 5 minutes of reading it if I would pass your resume on or not (as if I had that power to affect the process at all). VP and below bankers are really good at managing their emails, so chances are they saw and read what you sent over already
