this type of team is usually split into two functions but often they are combined into the same role as an analyst. those functions are advisory and lending. You should go with the one which offers the most advisory experience. What you do not want to do is get stuck in a lending only role. So when you say o&g structured finance, does this mean O&G structured finance advisory, or is it a reserve based lending role.
