I hear DB owns the city in London, at least according to my friends that interned at DB in NY. Basically, in "The City" working at DB S&T is equivalent to GS FICC in Manhattan.
I have a contact who is a Director in FI at DB in London. I am currently with a boutique IB in Chicago as a first year analyst, but have EU citizenship and have contemplated whether trying to have him try to set me up over there would be a good idea.
Obviously it is a case by case basis, but I am assuming that a Director would typically have the power to arrange an interview for me? Is this so?
An alum from my school who is a director at DB NY was talking to our class, and his words were "when i give HR a resume, it goes in a different stack and they have to look at it"
