Does BAML pay out sign on bonuses to lateral hires?
Got an offer with BAML CIB, and I’m expecting a $30k bonus at my current firm in about a month and a half. Also I’m liable to pay back my $10k sign-on bonus from when I started at my current firm because it’s been under a year. Will BAML cover these losses with a sign on bonus at the senior analyst level?
Typically yes, but it's on you to bring it up - need to ask about both.
however if your bonus is in 6 weeks AND your signing bonus goes away in 6 weeks, they will very likely want you to just start after bonus.
