Does working at another investment bank or financial firm pose a conflict of interest before FT start?

Have accepted an FT offer from my SA bank. I want to work at another bank or buy-side firm in the meantime at school, and I’ve been talking with some people for it who have presented the possibility. Is this allowed or would I be breaking some sort of compliance rule at the place I signed? I looked through my contract and didn’t see anything that prohibited it.

This other internship would be without the expectation of an FT offer, and they would know I am going to my SA bank for FT. This other place may be a well known MM bank, and I just don’t want to risk losing my FT offer for something like this
