Does WSO Academy help and is it worth it?
I just got an offer from WSO saying I’ve been accepted into the academy but it’s £7200 for the high finance offer guarantee. Not to sound slightly ridiculous but money isn’t really my concern here. I had a discussion with my parents asking if they’d be fine paying for it but they’re pretty concerned about the Academy’s legitimacy and doubt that the instructors will try EXTREMELY hard to get me an offer and instead think I can do a better job myself. I study in a target school in the UK and while my backgrounds pretty decent for IBD, I didn’t have the best spring application season and didn’t make it past a single hirevue even though I tried decently hard. My question hence is this: has anyone actually graduated from the academy with an offer they were satisfied with and if so, what was their overall experience with WSO like?

It’s 100% worth it if you want to make yourself a better candidate for jobs. They can’t do everything for you and get you in front of recruiting teams for positions you want. BUT they will definitely help you with everything else that goes into landing the job: resume, networking, behaviorals, and technicals. This drastically improves your chances because you have easy access to a long list of successful mentors who can point out your weaknesses and help you fix them. After going through the process, you become a much better interviewee/candidate
