A quick Google search turned up the "King Fahn University of Petroleum and Minerals"? Besides the fact that I've never heard of it before, it looks like it's focused more on science and engineering programs.
It's the best university in Saudi from what I've heard. If his family is part of the royal family, that would help. There are probably some people that went there who have gone into banking, if the university has an alumni database he should get off his lazy ass and search around for people from that university that have gone into finance.
Telling us where he is going to school doesn't really help either. What's his gpa, extracurriculars, etc. He might have the best luck going for a masters in finance in Europe and then trying to get a job in London.

I have come across people from Saudi (from KFUPM) working at BB's in London, its pretty rare but I guess possible (they might be well connected on the contrary though).
You wont find many people who know about the Uni but once you make it past the milk round it should not be a problem given the fact that London deals a lot with the Middle East and speaking Arab is definitely a plus.
You will have some troubles with visa and all but if the bank is willing to help it can be arranged.
Yes, KFUPM is King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. It is really good for engineering, but their finance department is the best in the country and region.

WHAT?
Top of his class; the educational structure for all finance students at KFUPM is mandatory co-op (28 weeks of experience in a professional setting). He did an 8 week IB internship at a regional IB when he was in HIGH SCHOOL (the summer before senior year HS, Im not kidding), and after completing his 2nd year, he is hoping to stick the 28 weeks with either Goldman or MS
His english is very good; lived in the UK for most of his life, so he's fluent. Fluent in Arabic as well

PS- it's ranked by THE as number 338 in the world. Not bad, but definitely not going to raise eyebrows unless he has something to support it.

Would be a lot easier to get a FT job in the MENA region from there. One would need to do a lot of networking to land a London position.
